E 212 Select Streets

A Select Street shall be a street designated by the Bureau of Street Services as a street requiring a thicker pavement design to accommodate greater traffic loads. Generally, Select Streets are streets with a Boulevard or Avenue functional classification designated under the Mobility Element of the General Plan for the City of Los Angeles.

A Local Street is a street not designated as a Select Street. The Bureau of Street Services shall maintain a public record of its street designations.
